Hello

At First New Baptist Church, we believe in upholding the core tenets of the Baptist faith while preserving the rich traditions of our heritage—without falling into legalism. Many churches today either abandon tradition altogether or hold onto it without grounding it in biblical truth. We seek a balanced path: a confessional church that remains deeply rooted in historic doctrine while embracing faithful, biblical practice.

We uphold the New Baptist Confession as a clear statement of our beliefs and remain committed to the Word of God as our sole authority in all matters of faith and life. Our teaching is shaped by the New Baptist Catechism, ensuring that all doctrine is firmly backed by Scripture.

Through weekly sermons and catechism-based teaching, we seek to cultivate a faith that is both deeply historical and faithfully relevant. Our mission is simple: to teach sound doctrine, uphold biblical truth, and encourage believers to live out their faith with conviction and grace.

My Story

My Story

I was raised in a non-denominational Christian background, but like many, I drifted away from faith as I got older. After enlisting in the Army, I began searching for truth on my own terms, exploring different religions and belief systems. I walked the path of paganism, the occult, and New Age spirituality, always looking for something deeper—something real. But none of it filled the void.

That search eventually led me back to the Catholic Church. I believed that if I was going to return to Christ, I needed to go back to where it all started. Historically, I recognized that the Catholic Church was one of the earliest Christian institutions, and for a time, I thought I had found the structure and foundation I was looking for.

But as the years passed, my conscience and my study of Scripture led me to wrestle with difficult questions. I had to ask myself: What is my ultimate authority—church tradition or the Word of God? The more I studied, the clearer it became that while traditions can be valuable, only the Bible is the final, infallible authority for faith and practice.

That conviction brought me to a place where I realized something important: It’s not about being Baptist, Catholic, or non-denominational—it’s about knowing Jesus Christ alone and trusting in His finished work. Denominations serve as a way to express beliefs, but they do not define our salvation. Christ alone does.

So why New Baptist?

For me, the Baptist faith is not about a denominational label but about a biblical, confessional faith that holds Scripture alone as the highest authority. The word "New" does not mean a different gospel, but rather a return to the core of biblical Christianity—without unnecessary traditions, but with deep historical roots. It’s a way to clarify that this is not just about a church title, but about a faith that is always reforming, always returning to the Word of God.

This is why I created First New Baptist Church Online—not to establish a new denomination, nor to push personal doctrines, but to provide a resource for those seeking to understand biblical Christianity through a historical Baptist lens, without losing sight of the greater truth:

✔ Teach sound doctrine
✔ Uphold biblical truth
✔ Encourage believers to trust Scripture as the highest authority

At the end of the day, my hope is that this ministry points people not to a denomination, but to Jesus Christ Himself. If you are seeking truth, I pray this ministry serves as a helpful tool on your journey.

Your Brother in Christ,
Brandon Frasier Sr.
